The government has said more than 10 lawyers have applied to be the next CJ but none has applied to be the DPP. Those who applied for the CJ job include lawyers and members of the judiciary. The numbers are expected to increase before the 21 day deadline lapses. However, the fact that no one has applied for the DPP post is worrying.
