Why Sterilize HIV Victims by Force?

Japhet Mati,  Professor and a former Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The University of Nairobi says that accumulated evidence to date shows that administration of antiretroviral therapy to the mother during pregnancy, labour and delivery, and then to the new born for women with HIV can reduce the rate of transmission to well below 10 per cent, meaning that despite the many challenges it is possible to dream of a HIV free generation without having to resort to to cruel acts of forced contraception for people livening with HIV.
