The Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation has warned of possible outbreak of waterborne diseases in Laikipia East Districts due to the heavy raging rains. The District Public Health Officer, Samson Marangu says samples taken recently from rivers and other common sources show varying degrees of contamination.
