Diaspora should Qualify for Elective Office in 2013 and not 2022

Kilemi Mwiria writes that Article 99 of the constitution should be reviewed. The article states that a person is disqualified from being elected an MP of the person has not been a Kenyan fpr at least ten years immediately preceeding the date of the election. It is vital to amend this Article to ensure Kenyans in the diaspora withing to run for political office can take the opportunity. This would help increase knowledge locally and help redefine governance.
