Prof Nyokabi Kamau, author of the book ‘AIDS Sexuality and Gender: Experiences of Women in Kenyan Universities opines that the last few years have seen Kenya being bogged down under the weight of many issues, and as a result issues to do with HIV/AIDS have been forgotten. She add that the need to champion women’s leadership to contain AIDS is an issue that must be given priority, and hopes to see agenda setting on issues involving HIV/AIDS by those seeking to lead the country.
