Amidst calls for resignation of Education minister Sam Ongeri, the government appears to be defending education ministry officials over the sh.4.2 billion scandal, urging Kenyans to blame the right people. The CID has questioned 19 people in connection with the funds and the suspects will be arraingned in court. Ongeri has refused to resign saying he is not responsible for the loss of the money and instead the Finance ministry should be held responsible.
